MC999 High number of eBay Buyer Protection cases - xxx

Dear xxx (xxx@xxx.com),

To keep eBay safe, we regularly check account activity in the eBay and PayPal Buyer Protection programs. We're writing to let you know that your account is close to going over the limits for opening cases with sellers. Here are some tips to help reduce the number of cases you open:

-- You have 45 days from when you paid to open a case. If you haven't received an item, please wait to open a case until after the estimated delivery date found on the "Order details" page. If no estimated delivery date was given, please wait until 7 days have passed after payment.
-- Items shipped internationally take longer to arrive. Not only do they need to travel farther, but they must clear customs when they arrive in the country.
-- You should contact the seller first before opening a case. You don't need to open a case to communicate with the seller. You can find the seller's contact information by using the "Ask a question" link in the listing or by following the steps here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/contact.html

No changes have been made to your account at this time. However, if a pattern of high case activity continues, you could be removed from eBay Buyer Protection, no longer able to buy items, or suspended from eBay.

You can review the eBay Buyer Protection policy here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/...rotection.html

Here's more information that may help you with buying:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/basics.html

We appreciate your understanding. If you have any concerns or questions, click "Customer Support" at the top of most eBay pages.

Thanks,

eBay

-- Sellers can have no more than 1% of total transactions with opened cases.
-- Sellers may have no more than 3 opened cases before they receive lower search visibility for listings.
-- Sellers can have no more than 0.3% of their transactions that are closed cases without seller resolution or no more than 3 closed cases without seller resolution, whichever is higher.
