Its a little less than a month left until Intel officially announces its high performance processors based on Sandy Bridge-E architecture but an European retailer already listed two processors on their site. The two processors we are talking about are Core i7-3930K and Core i7-3960X.
The Sweden site, PriceSpy, listed Core i7-3930K unlocked processor for 5148 SEK (that’s US $772.5) and the Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition processor for 9048 SEK (US $1357.7). 25% VAT tax is included in these prices. If we exclude the VAT then Core i7-3930K drops to US $579.4 and Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition to US $1018.3. These prices are acceptable considering the speculated prices, that are US $583 and US $999 respectively.
