Citiraj:
I agree. For DXVA though it is advised to get either a nVidia or ATI card (Windows). The Intel Clarkdale (i3, i5 CPU's) integrated GPU's can not take advantage of XBMC's built in DXVA functionality yet. However, I don't think you will need GPU acceleration when using an i3/i5 CPU - they are fast enough to do the job themselves
Ah, don't start about DXVA to me . It has given me headaches over the past few days. Started out with an ATI IGP (HD4200) with a Phenom 9750 Quadcore (4x2,5ghz). Everything went fine except for VC1 with DXVA enabled. Lots of stuttering and judder. Then after a few reinstalls of different OS'es and live CD's tried replacing my IGP with an Nvidia GT220. Didn't resolve a thing for me. Just yesterday bought myself a Phenom II X2 555, unlocked 2 more cores and overclocked it to 3,6Ghz. Turned off DXVA and everything plays wonderfull with under 60% CPU load (with the phenom 9750 with dxva disabled cpu spiked to 100% on one core so speed was an issue when turning off DXVA).
