"Im not breaking any rules, i wont give away anything.
Just wanted to say few impressions.

First of all, beeing a huge fan of battlefield and doing 2k+ hours in bf2 and 1k hours in bc2, battlefield 3 doesnt feel like either of those games.

Its not a bad thing, what facinated me the most was the feel of it.
You can acctually feel weight and mass, the physics of this game relate to you as a player in so many ways which is amazing. Its just fun to run around jump over things and throw grenades everywhere. Shooting the gun feels very realistic and satisfying, which makes you want to blast anything that moves. Also hearing bullets around you, and getting caught in suppersion is just amazing.

Running for the mcom, jumping over fences, seeing your legs, everything is shaking around you, seeing bullets fly past you and the closer they get the more effect it has on you, explosions effect you alot,
just wow, also micro distruction, on trailers you dont see it as much or feel it, but once you have the game fullscreen and hearing the sound in hq, you do feel it and you see it.


This is the most realistic game i have every played to this day, after everyone plays no one will compare this game to bf2 bc2 because its not.
Sure i hope elements hopefully will transfer from battelfield 2 which they will, ( fingers crossed for commo rose ).

Id also like to add that this feel of the game makes me think how it will be with vehicles around you, tanks blasting, jets flying over and shooting as well, building distruction and so on, and believe me its not like any other game where you dont pay attention to explosions, because in bf3 you wil.
Its almost too good to be true that there will be so much more in final version then alpha.

ps. one thing i will confirm which has been confimred by zhinto,
is that if you can run bc2, ull run bf3.

i run bc2 on medium with ok fps,
i ran alpha on high with good fps.

and yes its just alpha."
