TG jneagu, who supposedly has info from an anonymous DICE dev, we will see 4 new maps for Bad Company 2 before Vietnam comes out. 2 of those maps will be Bad Company 1 remakes. The other 2 will be Bad Company 2 single player maps converted to multiplayer. This will be the next VIP mappack or possibly the one after.
TG jneagu also notes that BFBC2 Vietnam will be $15 and the only confirmed release date is Winter 2010, which can be seen at the end of a teaser trailer. This new trailer is suppose to be released at the Tokyo Game Show."
