Crucial has one of the fastest SSD units on the market with the SATA 6.0 Gbps RealSSD C300. The company has now revealed that the successor will come in Q1 2011 , named Real SSD C400, and using 25 nanometer technology. Crucial today uses NAND flash memory circuits made with 34 nanometer technology and by transfering to 25 nanometer technology it can lower prices and increase capacity.

Interestingly Crucial will be targeting the mid-range next year. The RealSSD C400v will settle for the SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, but also cost $100 less at the same capacity.
