What type of video files are you trying to play? Are these new MKV files? If so try this:
The problem is it's default is using Header Compression when mixing. To solve this:
- Click on video track in mkvmerge
- choose Extra Options
- choose None for Compression
- repeat this for all tracks (Audio, Text) before muxing
More INFO regarding mkvmerge see the following:
http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkv...al_compression

Also:
- Delete .wd_tv folder in the drive(s)
- Restore player "factory settings" with drive unplugged (current firmware will remain unchanged)
Good practice is to Delete the .wd_tv folder every time you add or remove files off your drive.
Restoring the player to "factory settings" seems to correct many performance issues. Just don't have the drive(s) plugged in.
Hope this helps!
Evo ovo su mi rekli na WD TV Forumu...i pomoglo je
