Do NOT do this. Don't drain the Li-Polymer battery down to 0, same with Li-Ions, if you discharge it beyond a certain point it can't build up a charge properly and will no longer charge with the standard charger. In that case you can trick it back into service by playing with it and unofficial chargers, or reconnecting it, and hoping it will build up just enough to charge fully. The charger circuits in the phone have a safety sensor and if the battery has gone too low it can't start the chain reaction that begins the charging and builds up to the entire battery being fully charged - it needs that critical mass to start off with. All I can say is I used to think that the best thing was to fully discharge and I've killed about 2 laptop batteries and a couple of other Li-Ion/Li-Polymer batteries because of that before I learned better. It just puts too much strain on the battery, and if you persist at this then you'll have one that lasts a significant amount less than it used to (one laptop battery I had lasted about 5 mins and that was it - the other wouldn't even turn on). You want to discharge it down to 3% maybe, and use it to 1% if you absolutely have to in an emergency - but if you can avoid it, never use the battery to the point it dies. And don't try to turn it back on again without charging it, because that will suck out the very last bit of power and then it may not charge again.

eto.... dakle to nemojte radit ni u ludilu !evo u mojem slucaju,dobio sam mob sa servisa nov novcat i reko idem ispraznit bateriju do kraja da ju formatiram jel ,te fore...al jbg sad kad stavim mob punit on se uopce ne pali,jer baterija je tolko prazna da se putem usba(punjaca) nemoze napunit
... LOOOL zbog iste stvari(sad znam sta je uzrok..) sam poslo mob na servis..i eto sad izgleda da cu morat opet vratit mob-.-
