for those who cant host or find follow these steps. 1. go to control panel 2. open network and sharing centre (vista or windows 7) xp users go to network connections 3. on left side click adapter settings or manage networks 4. press alt on keyboard then at top press advanced- advanced settings 5. make sure hamachi is at top of the list then press ok 6. right click hamachi and press properties 7. make sure internet protocals version 6 is unchecked 8. click internet protocals version 4 and press properties 9. press advanced 10. in the default gateway it should say 5.0.0.1 if not click add aqnd put 5.0.0.1 11. set metrics to 10 (if this still dont work tick auto metrics) but for now set it to 10 and leave auto unchecked. 12. press ok then load need for speed shift and now look for game. my server is deebs so pop in every now and then for a race. i hope this solved your problem.
