Realizing that Sapphire's OEM is Enermax should be no brainer by now, as the FirePSU strongly resembles some of the latest Enermax products. Much like the respective 625W units from Enermax, the FirePSU is based on a proven double-forward symmetric bridge design. The FirePSU unit has two 400V/220μF Matsushita capacitors and an oversized transformer at the primary side feeding all of the lines. The secondary side capacitors are made by Nippon Chemi-Con and mostly appear in their KZE series, making this unit an all-Japanese affair. The heatsinks may appear to be a little too small for a 625W workstation PSU, but the high efficiency of the unit should minimize any thermal losses and keep the unit running fairly quiet.
