Half an hour ago I tested my graphic card first in slot 1 then in slot 2 and I can say I was surprised. With card in slot x4 I have only 110 points less in 3Dmark 06 and 2-3 frames less in Far Cry 2 bench. It seems that performance hit with only 4 lanes is not that hard in fact. What do you guys think about that?

a bio je i neki test sa grafama di su ljepili izolir traku preko pinova od VGA
pa da u biti radi na x8, x4 i x1, ovisno o tome koliko su stavili trake,
i tako smanjivali propusnost... slični rezultati, ništa dramatično.
vjerujem da isto vrijedi i za 4870. ako sam u krivu, znat ce drugi bolje pa neka vele.

da, sada vidim da ti to nije konfa iz 'moj komp'
već neka stara, onda uzmi jeftiniju opciju sa 3870 (polovnom)
makar, radila bi i 4870 samo šteta to za neki stari komp kupovat.
