AMD 785G is a revised version of the 780G. Instead of the RV610 class graphics, it now embeds a DX10.1 RV620 core and support HT3. For HD Video, it supports UVD 2 for high quality scaling, multi stream playback (PIP), transcode acceleration and dynamic contrast. The 3rd new difference is that now supports AMD overdrive 3 fusion utility. Most importantly it is on 55nm and you have a lower power, low noise power efficient system. Other features of the AMD 785G includes ATi Hybrid Graphics - Hybrid CF with Radeon HD 3450, PCIe Gen 2 (12 USB, 6 SATA, RAID). It also comes with HDMI (HDCP), DVI, Display port and SurroundView support. The 3D performance of the integrated graphics is said to outperform the previous generation with a 3DMark06 score of 1500+. This new platform is known as "Pisces".
