citiram s jednoga foruma...max clock of GDDR4 is only 1.4-1.6GHz, which is achievable with GDDR3 as well...
According to Samsung, it has GDDR4 that can achieve 2800 MHz - 3200 MHz.
ONDA is using 0.9ns ~=1800MHz but the manufacturer included a notice to clarify safe to run at 2200 MHz
he say the performance advantage around 5~10% over GDDR3 variants
Just to update some testing I did to this ATI HD 4670 GDDR4
Can overclock to 2400MHz for Memory Clock and 800 MHz for the Core Clock.
With default setting (1100 Memory Clock and 750 Core Clock), I can playback AVCHD Encoded FULL HD Movies, 1920 X 1080 encoded with Highest Quality using Panasonic Full HD Camcorder HDC-SD9, easily with only 10 - 20% CPU utilization using PowerDVD 8 Ultra.
Tested with C&C Tiberium War Kane Edition setting to 1600 X 1200, everything set to max details but only with 4X AA, it is smooth until Aliens fillup the whole space, it starts to choke a bit, but still very very much playable. (I contructed nearly 300 Soldiers and Tankers in total, certainly I hacked the Money)
Test were run on a pretty damn old box (4 years++ of age) as below: -
P4 2.6 HT
Biostar P4M900-M4 (recently bought)
4GB DDR2 667 RAM (but detected by BIOS is only 2.93 GB)
Sapphire ATI HD 4670 GDDR4
Can you imagine that, I can't even playback AVCHD movies easily with my Dell Inspiron 1520 (Centrino Core 2 T7500 with 8600M GT under 4GB DDR2 RAM)
That shows the different between the cards. Certainly, if the processor is faster, it would be even better, but I'm just thinking, the good old HT P4 won't be that awful lot as how we claimed the holding factor for the performance.
znaci ima dd4 memoriju, perfomanse su bolje od refertne hd 4670,odlicno hladjenje,i dobro se clocka...zasto ne??
