Traffic management is necessary to keep the prices we have right now and the
high download speeds we offer.
Every Premium Account receives 2666 MB traffic volume each day.
The maximum amount that can be collected is 10 GB.
The daily credit is added automatically at 00:01CET. Our server time is stated
in your account overview in your Premium Zone. Under certain circumstances
your download volume can be overdrawn. In this case the overdrawn amount is
subtracted from the next day's credit.
Traffic Example:
Day 1 2666 MB New Account, no Downloads
Day 2 5332 MB No Downloads
Day 3 6998 MB 1000 MB has been downloaded
Day 4 9664 MB No Downloads
We offer different options to raise your download capacity. Additionally to
your daily traffic credit, you have the possibility to convert RapidPoints or
TrafficShare to download traffic. In your Premium Zone Settings you can choose
between four options for your automatic traffic conversion:
-The default option is Use existing TrafficShare volume.
-The first option deactivates the automatic conversions.
-The second option allows automatic conversion of TrafficShare. The minimum
traffic creation is 1000MB which implies that you have more than 5GB
TrafficShare.
-The third option allows automatic conversion of RapidPoints. The minimum
traffic creation is 1000MB which will deduct 150 RapidPoints.
-The fourth option allows automatic conversion of TrafficShare and
RapidPoints. The same rules as above apply. The system will first use your
available TrafficShare and then the available RapidPoints to create further
download traffic.

Please be aware that some download managers can cause more traffic than the
actual file size.
The reason is that our system and the download managers do not match.
Downloading with a web browser will not cause any unnecessary traffic.
With the link "View Logs" in the premium zone you can see how much you have
downloaded on each day and from what IP-address.
If there are IP-addresses listed that you do not know, please change your
password (and maybe your e-mail address) in the premium zone using the link
"settings" and make sure that your computer and email-address are secure so
nobody could access your RapidShare-account.
