it seems that there's people that never really played a valve game

to create a shortcut:
1)right click hl2.exe in the L4D folder installation
2)click on "create a shortcut"
3)right click on shortcut
4)click on propierties
5)add in the command line: -game left4dead -console
6)double click shortcut
7)on console write sv_lan 1
8)on console write net_start (the LAN IP of the hoster will appear, this should be used in the step 11 by hosted-side)
9)on console write map "xxxxnameofthemapxxx" (to see map names: write on console maps * and choose the one of your like to write)
10)hoster-side can start playing
11)hosted-side can now connect via LAN IP ADDRESS (if you are blind, on windows start bar, press start > run > cmd > ipconfig)
12)play & enjoy
