For 2 weeks solid, we have been screwing around with different releases of this and here's what I can share, as fact:

1 - There are 2 versions and many groups claiming to release them.
2 - Only versions available is GERMAN and an unconfirmed UK and only recently (it's rumor at this point, WE have not seen such an official release).
3 - The official ENGLISH version is not available until November. (Details on official shop site)
4 - paul.dll and s2logic.dll are the files causing all the problems.
5 - An 'English' pack is available but roughly 65% complete and is inaccurate.
6 - There are many releases of s2logic.dll and paull.dll that claim to work. None do. All appear to come from different 'groups' or packs but are the same files. This applies to massive RS links, torrents and even insider sources. We have original German DVDs with English retail on pre-order. (Chances are, the German copies you have came from us)
7 - Patching to the latest 2.10.1 version is a must since it's un-playable (even if you own it!)

Some of these hacks will allow you to boot the game and even play it. BUT you will only get 1XP per kill (even with the XP Potion) so it's basically useless to play. The frequent dumps to menu (screen fades to black and returns to menu) happen when you use the cracks, load and begin playing. It detects the hacks, shuts down your game and invokes the 1XP/kill rule but will allow you to keep playing.

Sacred 2 looks like fun but even with the hacks it makes getting past level 7-8 is so far impossible.
