This roadmap unveils that the MCP72/78 can fully support AMD’s new ACC technology only with some board modifications (but the MCP72/78 motherboard in the market now will not support it). As nVidia’s calender shows, we will see MCP72/78 motherboards supporting ‘ACC’ on 1st Sep. AMD has been concealing the secret behind ACC and now nVidia give us the answer. JTAG is a industry standard which is used to test CPU. It uses several pins of the CPU and has no effect on CPU performance. ACC takes advantage of these pins and that’s the secret.
