If both conventional telephone and ADSL service are simultaneously available from the same copper pair, you will need a central splitter or distributed filters for decoupling ADSL and telephone signals.
Depending on your phone/VoIP contract, you can still make calls over the regular telephone line, provided that you have connected the PSTN port of your Thomson Gateway.
