Imam jedno pitanje...

Kako natjerati dotični monitor [LG L194WT] da radi u svojoj nativnoj rezoluciji (1440×900) priključen na DVI izlazu ATi Radeon X1600pro

Ubih se od konfiguracije xorg.conf ali uvjek isto...
ili... ne radi (neće ući u X-e)
ili... radi kako je i radilo / neka niža rezolucija razvučena na 1440×900

Ugl. trebam pomoć oko ovog jer je to jedina stvar koju nisam uspio riješit...

Sada sam na poslu, čeprkam po netu i nađem ovo... pa samo da pitam dali bi radilo... i koje podatke trebam upisati za ATI X1600Pro grafulju...

Next step was add the resolution under the screen sections.

and finally the last step that took me FOREVER to find was adding this simple line in the device section --

(the Modevalidation options is what did it)

Uff ovako sad me nemoj držati za riječ ali mislim da vše widescreen reze budeš teško natjerao da rade na ATI driveru, ja sam sa SuSeom popizdio od konfanja na x550 i nisam nikad uspio bio bilo što izvan standardnih 4:3 izvući da izgleda kako treba...

Mislim da je problem u ATIjevim driverima koji seru...

Inače ovo nvidia zamjeniš sa imenom ati drivera i mislim (mislim samo nisam 100% siguran) da ti umjesto 24bit treba 32bit na ATi grafama...

ALi ja ti nisam neki linux guru tako da uzmi s rezervom... :)

WTF?! Linuksaši!?... šta je ovo? Niko ništa ne odgovara...:stoopid:

Trebo si postati da častiš sa 2x veliki čevapi i 2x 1L Velebitskog onog ko rješi... ;)

Skineš ATi-jeve drivere (*.run) sa njihovog sitea.

Omogućili universe repozitorij u /etc/apt/sources.list
Pa:

Uredi /etc/X11/xorg.conf fajl i dodajte sljedeće na kraj fajla:

Uredite spisak modula koji se neće učitavati prilikom bootanja:

dodajte fglrx tako da fajl sadrži sljedeće:

sudo aticonfig --initial
sudo aticonfig --overlay-type=Xv
sudo shutdown -r now

Sama instalacija drivera je riješila moj problem...
