VIA KT333 piirisarjassa ongelmia
 

Sain suoraan Epoxilta tietoa uuden VIA KT333-piirisarjan aikataulusta. Tämän hetken KT333-piirissä on havaittu ongelmia DDR-muistien kanssa ja tämän takia on heitelty kapuloita rattaisiin. Alla kuitenkin tietoa antava meili kokonaisuudessaan:

"The current version of VIA's KT333 has a minor bug, however important enough to suspend the production until the official release of the final chipset. VIA's new KT333 chipset will be called VIA KT333A. In Technical aspect, the chipset fails to properly work with some DDR modules or is very picky supporting them. This flaw can be solved by disabling the STR function, but for mayor production we will wait for the KT333A.

The limited samples of this chipset will not cover any Media exposure, since we only produced like 5 samples totally. The official release of the KT333A will be in the end of February, Mass production will start beginning of March."

Eto sad kad su ih provalili prije vremena, mada su svi to ocekivali, ocekujem KT333AA koji ce biti ono sto je trebao biti KT333A a ovaj je trebao biti KT333 a ovaj....:D
