Windows Vista 32-bit - The Memory Could Not Be Read

kada pokrenem određene programe (najčešće igre) izleti mi ovaj error prozorčić:

The instruction at 0x0040418a referenced memory at 0x04000ac0.
The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program.

a ponekad još i :

Runtime error 216 at 0040418a.

ima li itko kakvo rješenje? riječe je o 32 bitnoj Visti sa Service Packom 1

ne da mi se reinstalirati Windoze samo zbog toga
