TechPowerUP has released the GPUTool Community Technology Preview 1 which helps you detect the information of video cards.
This first public Community Technology Preview is released to show you which way the development is going and to get feedback about possible new features.
Expect a lot of bugs and broken features.

GUI / Interface

Q: What is the (1:0:0) behind my card in the drop down?
A: The location on the bus, every device gets a unique location.

Rendering

Q: Why is there no movement in the render test?
A: In order to detect artifacts, GPUTool compares two subsequent images. If there was movement the images wouldn't match. Movement will not create a higher load anyway.
Tools like OCCT and Furmark do not actively scan for errors so there can be movement.

General

Q: Feature X doesn't work.
A: That was expected for such an early release. Make a bug report in the forum, maybe it gets fixed.

Q: Will you integrated GPU-Z in GPUTool or GPUTool in GPU-Z.
A: No, that's not planned.

Q: When can I expect a next/beta/final release?
A: When it's done.

Q: Which cards will be supported?
A: Unknown at this time. I am aiming for something like newer than GeForce 6, HD 3xxx. Intel/S3/Matrox unknown and low priority.
