Windows XP Professional x64 how to hibernate???

Dakle doticni win i u postavkama napajanja nemogu nac ni postavit da si komp stavim u Hibernaciju....

Moze li se to nekako u regisrima ukljucit ili ta mogucnost ne postoji?

inace win je Verzija 5.2.3790

Odeš u Control panel -> Power Options i tamo upališ i tabu hibernate enable hibernation? :stoopid:

Osim ako nemas neke konkretne razloge protiv, razmisli o Suspend to RAM varijanti. Dizanje i bacanje u "sleep" ti traje doslovno nekoliko sekundi...

S3 Power mode

The S3 mode, also called suspend or standby mode, is ideal for media PCs as it can turn on and off the PC within seconds. This is achieved by not shutting down the operating system but by "freezing" it into the RAM. Modern ATX supply units guarantees that the PC is absolutely quiet in suspend mode, just as if the PC was turned off normally. All fans, harddisks or other stuff inside the PC are turned off! Often you have to configure the S3 mode in the bios of the PC first, so that it really turns off these devices and does not only go into S1 mode.

If you worry about the power consumption: Our measurements have shown that the power consumption in S3 mode is almost exactly the same as if the PC is shut down normally. In worst case the consumption was at 1.8 Watts compared to 1.1 Watts when the PC was shut down. In most cases the consumption was below the treshhold which could be measured by us at all. Standalone devices like CD players, TVs or amplifiers usually need much more power in standby mode. So the S3 mode offers best conditions to be used in media PCs! It is supported by Windows® OS since Win 98b.

Osim ako nemas neke konkretne razloge protiv, razmisli o Suspend to RAM varijanti. Dizanje i bacanje u "sleep" ti traje doslovno nekoliko sekundi...

super samo mene zanima dal je S3 po defoultu postavljen i ako nije di i kakko ga postavit....

A sto se hibernacije tice znam da je malo zeznuto ali ipak dal se to da enablati u registrima bas me zanima.

Jedna stvar? Kod hibernacije dal smeta nestanak napajanja, kos s3 cinimi se da smeta jer je sve pohranjeno u memoriju ?????:stoopid:

S3 postavljas u BIOS-u, obicno se opcija zove "Suspend type", postavljas je na "S3" ili "Suspend to RAM". Komp bacas u sleep pomocu Start->Shutdown ili Turn of your Computer->Stand By. Kaj se tice hibernacije, mislim da je ovaj link na M$-u i vise nego jasan. Kod hibernacije ti ostaje sve, makar iskljucio komp iz zida godinama, a kod Suspend to RAM-a gubis sesiju prilikom nestanka struje (duzeg od 1-2 sekunde, koliko bi mozda elektroliti izdrzali napajati plocu i RAM).

ali opet lijepo bi bilo kad bi se dalo stavit u hibernaciju ipak bilo bi na disku ....

nisam
a ni necu jer ako sam ja dobro shvatio necu dobit nista s hibernacijom....
a neznam dal je to tocno ali cini mi se da virtualna memorija sluzi za pospremanje podataka za obradu (vecih podataaka)a u ram da se prispremaju adrese i tak to....:kafa:

Dakle kakav je to PAE mod .i dal se to da nekako iskljuciti/prebaciti u drugi mod?

Jao kako volim kad ljudi "Speakaju" engleski u naslovu topica, te ne koriste hrvatske dijakritičke znakove ^^
