Boinc i iskorištenost CPU-a

Instalirao sam Boinc ver5.10 i uključio se na rosettu i climateprediction.
Na stranicama od rosette i climate-a sam stavio:
On multiprocessors, use at most 1 processors
Use at most 50% percent of CPU time
U boinc-u pod preferences sam stavio max 50% CPU time

U task manageru iskorištenost proca mi divljački skače od 10 do 90%. Kako da ga "ukrotim"?? Procesor je athlon x2 4600+ windsor 2.4ghz

To je očito normalno ponašanje. A može se dodat i koji Add-on.

u pitanju je dvojezgreni proc. Stavio sam: "On multiprocessors, use at most 1 processors"
što znači da bi max. iskorištenost trebala bit 50%, a meni je zadnjih pol sata 100% (u task manageru). to mi se ne čini kao normalno ponašanje... bojim se da mi ne ga skuri... koji add-on preporučaš??

Tu je problem. BOINC u toj verziji vidi 1 CPU.

Yes, if you set your General Preference to use at most 50% of CPU for example, then it will use 100% CPU for a second, then do nothing for a second, then use 100% for a second... this gives you the 50% usage on average.

Ako i dalje stanje nije zadovoljavajuće, smanji još više % of CPU time.

Što se tiče add-on-a, tu je BES koji ima GUI. A opet radi isto što i ugrađeni:

You might want to set the maximum CPU load in the absolute percentage (e.g. “make it exactly 40% whenever possible”), but BES can't do that; because BES is not controlling the CPU directly in low level, but indirectly limits the “greediness” of the target application (i.e. how often it requests the system to give it a time slice) by forcing the targeted process to periodically sleep for a very short time. What you are actually controlling by setting % here is this “periodically how?” part.

Sada sam postavio "On multiprocessors use at most 1 processor" i "Use at most 90 percent of CPU time". U Everestu vidim sljedeće temperature: Mat.ploča=50 CPU=47 1.jezgra=48 2.jezgra=50 MCP=57.
Jesu li te temperature u normalnim granicama???
