Futuremark 3DMark 11
 
Najavljeno je i to čudo. A ovo je prvi video koji je pušen u javnost. Radi se o Deep See testu:



MSI je negdje platio masne pare da im logo (toliko dugo) stoji na tim podmornicama...

Inače test izgleda brutalno realno, negdje će biti prilično zahtjevan za kartice. Nadam se samo da ne zaribaju s tim testom kao što su s Vantageom koji je na kraju postao mjerilo procesora u finalnom rezultatu više nego kartice.

A dobro, mislim da su iz Futuremarka mogli traziti dosta vise, a sad, opet s druge strane ako se pojavljuje samo u ovom testu i do nekih 30ak sekundi, onda opet i nije tako malo...

toliko smo mogli mi, tu na forumu skupiti, pa bi se umjesto MSI vrtilo PCE

Heheh...još jedan Mark u kolekciji kojeg ne mogu ni pokrenuti :D

Činjenica je da moraju izdati nešto što nijedna "normalna" kartica ne može pokrenuti da useri sline za najskupljim modelima od cca 5 somova kuna....

Lijepo će biti maknuti se od dosadnih '06 i Vantage, al taj MSI preko cijelog testa je epski facepalm

Danas MSI, sutra Spahire itd..Ti cepelini su veliki reklamni panoi. Mogli su stavit onu malu đepnu podmornicu al na njoj nema tak puno mjesta za reklame.

imam dvije velike 5870 kutije od sapphirea ispred sebe i namjerno sam stavio tak da vidim koji je će prvi imat potrebu...

Očeš reći jučer SAPPHIRE, pa sapphire je na vantageu, na onom gliseru koji se pretvori u letjelicu...kolko su oni pljunuli za tu reklamu?!

Sumnjam da se ovo vrtilo kao test na nekoj kartici. Prije ce biti da je ovo renderovana scena samo za showoff.

Izgleda predivno i audio je epic.Pa neki fini quad sli ili xf bi trebao pristojno vrtiti ovakvu scenu. Ili se možda varam?

Having seen this video for the first time all I could think to myself was merely a series of expletives regarding the sheer detail of 3DMark 11. I could not believe what my eyes were seeing and the insane amount of detail and realism. I have a feeling that 60% of people who watch this benchmark will have no idea that it was even a benchmark. The majority of people will probably think they’re watching a scene out of Titanic or something.
Po pitanju zvuka, mišljenja sam da je ista stvar kao što je bila kod 3DMarka03; kada se vrti Wing of Fury demo.

Inače, iako ovaj game test izgleda pravo dobro, nadam se nekim "vedrijim" scenama kao što su one koje smo imali prilike viđati u ranijim benchmarcima (ne Vantage), Unigine anyone?

3DMark 11 is expected to arrive in Q3 2010.

Monday Futuremark announced that the latest edition of its popular benchmarking software, 3DMark 11, will be released in Q3 2010. The software was built in-house using a native DirectX 11 engine, ensuring that it will maintain its leadership as a solution in measuring the performance of DirectX 11-based gaming machines.
The trailer, seen below, demonstrates the use of DirectX 11 using an early build of the 3DMark 11 engine, and it simply looks awesome. "The Deep Sea trailer features submersibles exploring the sea floor," Futuremark explains. "Volumetric lighting illuminates the seabed with tessellation used to add rich detail to the rock, coral and man-made structures. Post processing delivers depth of field and other lens effects. The music is an original composition."
Futuremark said that it will display the 3DMark 11 Deep Sea tech demo at the MSI booth during Computex next week. In addition to the YouTube video, the company also provided images which we've added in the gallery listed to the right (click the screenshot).
"For over 10 years 3DMark has shown gamers what to expect from the next generation of real-time 3D graphics," said Jukka Mäkinen, Futuremark CEO, "So we are especially excited to announce 3DMark 11 and show the possibilities of DirectX 11 with the release of the Deep Sea trailer."

According to the interview over at ATI-Forum.de, the 3DMark 11 Deep Sea tech demo seen over at Computex is just for show and won't be included with the final release of the new 3DMark 11. According to Futuremark, this is the first time that Futuremark showed some content from a new benchmark before the launch, and it was simply used to demonstrate Directx 11 technologies and the 3DMark 11 engine. Unfortunately, Futuremark still keeps any info on the actual 3DMark 11 test under wraps. Another interesting note is that the 3DMark 11 will be avaialble as a "free edition" as well and will offer unlimited runs, which is made possible due to advertising that now goes to MSI.

3DMark 11 Release Date Announced, Pre-ordering Begins

Futuremark announced today that 3DMark 11, the latest version of the industry standard benchmark for real-time 3D graphics, will be released on November 30. 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition priced at $19.95 can be pre-ordered today from http://www.3dmark.com/. Futuremark has updated the 3DMark website to highlight the exclusive features in the Advanced Edition and has released a new pre-order preview trailer showing graphical improvements in the Deep Sea and High Temple scenes. A selection of new before and after screenshots demonstrate tessellation, volumetric lighting and other effects created with DirectX 11.

The new 3DMark 11 Pre-order Preview trailer shows off a number of improvements from the previously released work-in-progress tech demo videos. The Deep Sea scene now includes particle effects in the water as submersibles explore the sea bed and discover a sunken World War II submarine. In the High Temple scene the foliage is now animated and there are changes in the lighting conditions as the sun sets on the mysterious temple.

3DMark 11 Launch Delayed, No New Release Date At Hand

The launch of Futuremark's anticipated DirectX 11 graphics benchmark suite 3DMark 11, has been delayed. The software was earlier slated for release on the 30th of November, with pre-ordering already underway. The company is citing last-minute bugs as a reason for the delay. In a circular to the press, Futuremark said: "Over the weekend we made the difficult decision to postpone the launch of 3DMark 11 by a few days. Our aim is that 3DMark 11 should provide accurate, reliable and consistent results from the start. With that goal in mind we are taking some extra time now to fix a couple of difficult bugs rather than patching the benchmark immediately after launch."

The company does not have a new release date at hand, as it doesn't know how long the last-minute bug-squashing will take. "It might take a day, it might be a week, but either way we'll be in touch again soon to confirm the new launch date...," the circular added. 3DMark 11 is a comprehensive 3D hardware performance benchmark suite that makes use of the DirectX 11 API, making use of the very latest in consumer 3D graphics. It also provides an insight into what level of detail and realism one can expect from this generation of graphics processors.
