AMD Taken to Court over Core Count on “Bulldozer”
Citiraj:
It looks like AMD is being taken to court over misrepresentation of the CPU core count on its “Bulldozer” architecture. Tony Dickey, who is representing himself in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has accused AMD of falsely advertising the core count on its latest CPUs. He claims that because of the way they are physically structured, AMD’s 8-core “Bulldozer” chips really only have 4 cores.
