Ne, mislio sam da li postoji nekakav RCA-RF (ili kak se već zove antenski priključak) adapter. Scart mi je već iskorišten.

samo mislim da budes onda trebal na tom splitteru palit/gasit pojedini scart kanal :)

netreba gasiti paliti nego ako gleda na jedan scart npr dvb-t to ugasi i upali mede8er ili obrnuto tako radi kod mene bez greške

evo nasao sam .. zadnja revizija fw-a podrzava playback bd iso fileova.. vrlo korisno za ubuduce kad ce se blu ray vise rasprostranit i moci ces si sam doma napravit iso od npr. posudenog diska..:chears:

Mede8er V4 Public Beta4 JE VANI.

Verzija je stabilna ali ima jos dosta sitnih bugova za ispraviti pa ako vam se ne zuri pricekajte jos koji dan (tjedan ?) za final verziju.

Note: not really a bug. You need to use naming convention 01, 02,03 etc.

Jel tko digao FW 4.0b?

Kako citam po njihovom forumu ima jos podosta nekih sitnih bugova za podesiti, al da fino radi.

Ja ga necu jos dizat, bojim se da mi se ne desi ista stvar ko kad sam se igrao sa beta verzijom koja mi je "pojela" vidljivost filmova koji su vec bili na HDD-u, pa sam morao format diska napravit :D.

Nisam jos cuo na forumu da ga neko ima pa da kaze info iz prve ruke.

Neznam, meni su oba uredjaja preskupa u odnosu na WDTV player.

Da li je MEDE8ER iz Ronisa sa novijim DD+ čipom? Ima plavu naljepnicu na kutiju.

prvi put cujem za taj DD+ čip?

U principu, nikakve znacajne razlike nema. Ako ti zaista treba mogucnost dekodiranja Dolby True HD i DTS-HD streamova onda trebas DD+. U svemu ostalom DD i DD+ cipovi su identicni. DD je trebao odmah biti DD+ ali izgleda da je Realtek nesto shebao prilikom dizajniranja cipa i ispravio u slijedecoj reviziji koju je nazvao DD+.
Mede8er je, kad se pojavio, u specifikacijama imao Dolby True HD i DTS-HD - "under development", sto bi znacilo da bi nova revizija firmwarea trebala donijeti podrsku za iste. Na kraju se ispostavilo da je to nemoguce posto je stvar cipa. Zato sada u nove unite i stavljaju DD+ cip.

Da piše po službenim forumima da je plava naljepnica oznaka za DD+ ali htio sam potvrdu iz prve ruke.

Koju WD ima. :D Znaci ostaje "samo" ugradnja diska, a to je premali nedostatak, IMO iz razloga sto opet vuce sadrzaj sa diska u racunalu preko mreze npr.

Osim ako uredjaj prenasas okolo cesto, tu wd gubi ako nemas externi hard.

Edit: postoji i mogućnost da se jedan od USB konektora iskoristi za LAN preko usb-to-lan adaptera sa neslužbenim firmware-om, al to opet diže cijenu

u vezi share-ova, pričekaj još par dana dok mi ne stigne wireless stick iz amerike pa isprobam

Kakve brzine postižeš? Meni upravo prebacuje s laptopa 1,29MB/s.
Moram priznati da sam više očekivao od N standarda.

Vidio sam sad da si na wifi-G.
Ja imam linksys gigabitni N router i nisam zadovoljan brzinom wifi prijenosa zato jer je ista kao sto sam imao sa speedtouch na G standardu.
--
Stavio sam v4b4 firmwarea i neće da play-a neke flacove koji rade na wdtv.
Generalno sam zadovoljan sa uređajem, ali mi se wdtv live čini kompletniji. Jedina mana je što nema mogućnost ugradnje diska, ali to su riješili sa wd tv live hub modelom sa ugrađenim 2.5" diskom od 1tb.

Update the Mede8er in the normal way via Emergency procedure

Emergency Installation Procedure

- Download the latest Firmware from the Mede8er website
- Unrar / Unzip the file i.e. install.img
- Copy this file to the root directory of a Flash Drive
- Plug the flash drive into the Mede8er
- Disconnect the power jack at the rear of the Mede8er then plug it back in
- Now press the on/off button (on Mede8er unit - not remote) - keep it pressed in for 10 seconds and then release
- The LED on the front fascia of the Mede8er with flash red-blue
- You will get a progress bar on your TV display (some TV's will not display this)
- Wait until the Mede8er re boots itself +/- 90 sec
- Your Mede8er is now updated;
- Re-boot once by pulling power and use as normal

Mogu odmah potvrditi da mi neki filmovi nisu radili sa v4beta5 i da nakon upgradea rade.
Male promjene u dizajnu menija, ali onako površinski je sve to isto kao i u beti.
Još treba isprobati wifi da li radi štagod brže...

Stavio novi firmware 4 u Mede(8) 500

Stavio novi firmware 4 I nastao mrak!? Vratio sam ili stavio v. 3.4 koji sam prvo našao na mreži. Ne znam jesam li ga već ranije imao ili sam imao v. 3. Sada radi ali nikao na Internet radio. Postavke su tako jednostavne pa me sram pitati u čemu griješim! Dođe ipak na kraju ?

Prati daljnje upute, i meni je zaštekao pa sam moram napraviti upgrade bootloadera:
Malo su zasrali stvar s ovim svime, vidi da dosta ekipe ima problema. Da, obavezno napravi format sticka s ovim HP programom, iskopčaj HDMI kabel prije flashanja (upotrijebi composit priključak).

For those who are having problems with the update
The reason that the install is not working is that the Bootloader did not update

FIX
1) download http://www.chip.de/downloads/HP-USB-..._23418669.html
2) Use the utility to formatt your USB Flash Drive to FAT32
3) Install the firmware again
4) If the above does not work please try another USB Flash Drive

If the above does not work for med500X then try the following

MED500X ONLY

Pls try a few times and if it still does not update the bootloader then you will need to do the 17L Bootloader Patch procedure

Instructions for updating from Bootloader 17L
a) Download 0017L_bootloader_patch.zip
b) Unzip the file 0017L_bootloader_patch.zip and you will find 2 files inside.
install.img and install.dat
c) Copy these files to the root of a USB drive
d) Install via Emergency Procedure.
--- On the first stage you will see the patch install on the screen
--- then the Mede8er will reboot
--- Next you will see BETA2 install on screen and a yellow box after half of progression bar stating it has to reboot
--- then another reboot
--- then again it starts to install BETA2 and finishes with install complete and reboots

THE PROCESS IS NOT COMPLETE SO PLEASE CARRY ON

e) Delete the two files install.dat / install.img on the USB stick
f) Unrar/Unzip the file (Depends on your requrement)

and copy the install.img to the root of the USB stick.
g) Update the Mede8er in the normal way via Emergency procedure

Please be patient as the update from 17L is much longer that the normal firmware update.

If you have tried all the above and only get the E8E loading screen then we suggest you use V4BETA5 as a Bootloader updater. Some users have noted that unplugging the HDMI cable before the update process and using the Composite Output (yellow) worked for them ---- so this is something also worth trying.

Dodao bih slijedi polako i bez žurbe.

Program za format stick je na njemačkim stranicama. Malo me šetalo, ali sam ipak pogodio gdje skinuti.
Točniju adresu nisam zapisao.
Za skidanje pacha stranica koju si ponudio je zauzeta nekakvim gušterom trgovcem a našao sma jednu stranicu na grčkom, no lijepo se vidi gdje skinuti pach.

Kada ga se ugradi dobijes se ulaz kao nakon normalnog ubacivanja programa - e sad, nisam gotov - piše da to nije gotovo već ponovno očistiti stick i tek tada ubaciti novi firmware. Nadam s eda će sve biti u redu. Da skinuo sam HDMI kabl i radim s običnim trožilnim comp. Još jednom hvala!

Završio! I radio radi! Mislim Internet radio. Možda malo šepa, nije kao prije, ali i ranije je bilo slabijih dana. Pod stanice se nije ništa usnimilo ali jest pod traži. Od našig stanica , od tri dvije sam uspio staviti (samo te i slušam ponekad - iz grada gdje jesam i dvije gdje sam živio. Sad da pogledam ostalo. Pod žanrovima nije baš išlo kao prije, ali valjda će se popraviti. Tako pod klasika nisam dobio ništa. Ostalo nisam tražio. Sada zvuk malo škripi, no toga je bilo uvijek. Bog

Kako se logirati na vlastiti PC?

Kako se logirati na vlastiti PC
Iz računala (Windows 7) vidim „utrobu“ Med8era i mogu kopirati datoteke, ali ako iz Med8era želim vidjeti PC – a ne bih htio kopirati ono što već imam u mreži – računalu – onda me Med8er pita za ime i zaporku. Ne znam što bih upisao. Nije prošlo ništa čega sam se sjetio. Poruka: Logiranje palo. Na računalu sam podesio neke odrednice „da dijelim sa svima“ – ako je to to?

Trebao bi dodijeliti username i password na racunalu najprije, a potom to isto i u setup-u playera...meni je tako proslo.
Jedino sto sam "napravio" novog Usera na racunalu i dodijelio mu admin ovlasti, a windowsi mi se dizu s drugog tako da ne moram svaku put tipkati username i password, kako zelis.

Vidim da je dosao nasljednik njegov koji vrti i torrente i sve, a posto bih prodao HTPC uzeo bi nesto takvo da mogu radit slicno ko na kompu...

PO meni je malo bolji od WD live-a ?? ubaci se i HDD unutra kojeg imam iz HTPCa i bok

Točno to i meni palo na pamet, zašto ići s konja na magarca...XBMC je svjetlosnu godinu ispred bilo kojeg media playera po mogućnostima

Da ali se nikako ne moze mjeriti po jednostavnosti. Ja sam isto tako prodao HTPC (XBMC) i uzeo WDTV live jer sam skuzio da mi to uopce ne treba u zivotu.
Dopizdili mi fanartovi, katalogizacija i ostale opsesije. Na kraju krajeva sve sto zelim je pogledati film. 4TB multimedije u racunalu, mrezni kabel kroz zid do boravka, daljinski sa 4 tipke i vozi.
Sad ga cak i zena koristi samostalno.
Za neke je stvari i magarac bolji od konja.

htpc mi je asrock 785gmh sa athlonom x240, scythe shuriken, 4gige rama, 500gb harda i to sve u antec fusion remote kucistu spojeno na panu 42g20es .. treba mi lova, a taman mi ta razlika u cijeni pase, imam laptop sa strane tako da mi je ovo sasvim dosta..

Ja se uopće ne zamaram sa fanartovima jer mi to sve radi automatski, mogu browsat na plazmi, šetat po youtube, vimeo i sličnim servisima jer pluginova zbilja ima više nego čovjek stign pogledat, i što je najvažnije...fleksibilnost...nijedan media player ne podržava toliko formata kao HTPC (i one koji će tek doći)
Cijena isto usporediva, uzeo sam Asrock ploču sa bobcatom za 750kn, dodao kućište za 300kn, 2gb rama i neki stari 200gb disk sam već imao, i eto HTPC (i mala Lenovo bežična tastatura kao daljinac)
