Been a while :) I've been really busy (new job + appartment + girlfriend... sigh), but i had enough time to cook something new for you :)

OCCT PT 1.1.1 official has been released :)

Among new features : Core temp support, Vista64 support (signed driver), much better everest support (display sensor names in list, much more stable...), new RAM mode, OCCT plays a sound when it detects an error, it's faster to stop a test...

Phew :o

I had only 2 new words to translate (Miscellaneous and sound) into croatian so i used a dictionnary... tell me if it is wrong, i'll correct it :)

Hello guys !

It's been a while... but i haven't stopped working on OCCT :)

OCCT PT 2.0.0 as released today. It has alot of new features (as the "2.0.0" indicates), but among them, you'll notice :
* New tests (more effective !)
* Integrated monitoring : OCCT is now using the HWMonitor engine ! No need to install anything, OCCT has it built-in
* CPU-Z engine support
* Better graphs (scales are easier to read...)

And much more ;)

Hello... Wanted to leave a comment.

Just one thing... For the new Wolfdale processors (E8200, E8400, E8500) OCCT doesn't show good temperatures. It's often 10C higher...

To ti je jer koristiš Real Temp. On naprema drugima (Core Temp i ostali) daje ili 5/10°C manje temperature, ovisno, koliko sam skužio o Tjunction-u.

Al on ima jedini realne temperature oko Woldfalea...
Kolko sam čuo.

A napiši onda to čovjeku. Nek pogleda thread na XS-u za Real Temp, pa ako može da popravi onda očitavanja temperaturi. Vjerojatno ne znam za Real temp, jer program nije dugo vani.

Tetedeiench, look at this link below. It shows how temperatures for Intel processors can be wrong with CoreTemp, or similar programmes (which have, as he confirmed with a IR thermometer, wrong TJ max temperature set). On AMD CPUs, everything is OK.

Just wanted to say great job man; best version of OCCT, temp readings are ok, voltages too, except for 12V, but thats my MB sensor sucky.

Isprika na dva posta, al tek sam sad vidio. Inače gledam s Core Tempom i sad probam ovaj Real Temp i vidim da on pokazuje 5C manje.. Njemu je Tjunction 95, dok je kod Core Tempa 100C. I sad kome vjerovati?

Navodno Real Temp jer taj Tjunction je max. temp, pri kojoj se procesor pregrije i ugasi (a s time i sve ostalo). Čovjek (tvorac Real Temp-a) je mjerio sa Infracrvenim termometrom i dobio da je na nekim procesorima Tjunction manji za 5°C, negdje 10°C.

Upitno je, način mjerenja temperature. Točnije, što je on mjerio sa IR termometrom (a što zapisao kao Tjunction). Gađao je IHS, a po nekim zakonima, jezgra koja predaje toplinu IHS-u, bi morala biti ipak toplija od njega samoga. Jel to 5°C ili 10°C, nitko nezna, no oboje je moguće.

* BugFixs : Now OCCT properly detect all 4 cores temperatures on some quad-cores CPU, and OCCT properly detects CPUs in Vista (some were problematic)
* OCCT now supports ACPI Sensors and HDD Sensors (SMART)

The "default.po" file used for translation is usable again - it was corrupted in the previous release

Yep, seems that Intel is messing up with TJunction these days.

For people complaining with the +15°C, seems that M0 are reported accuratly by OCCT, one of my beta tester tested it in a very simple way : he swapped a "non M0" with a "M0" stepping, with the very same cooling system. And it seems that only HWmonitor, and thus OCCT, didn't show an exact 15°C difference between the 2 CPU's...

Sve ti je objasnjeno na onoj temi...
Ukratko, oba su uglavnom malo nagađanje, ali ovaj tip je mjerio IC senzorom, pa... Uglavnom, teško mi je vjerovat da su temp 42C u idleu, baš kao E6300 naklokan...

OCCT 2.0.0a Problem

Kada pokrenem OCCT 2.0.0a javlja mi se sljedeća poruka:

Preveo sam sa francuskog na engleski i to znači:

operation float point invalid

I kada stisnem OK, pojavi mi se ovakav OCCT:

A verzija 1.1.1b radi bez problema. Pomognite ljudi. Komp mi normalno radi, nema nikada nikakvig grešaka ni slično, nakon 12h Dual Primea. Da li da pogledam ako u BIOS-u kakva opcija nije uključena ili isključena?

Mod: slike veće od 50kb, u thumbnail

Meni radi 2.0.0 bez ikakvog problema, ali mi stalno isključuje testiranje u 3 sekundi (odma nakon one minute nadziranja) sa errorom procesor prevruć?

To su izmjerenetemperature, ako je to prevruće onda u k:D
Inače u opcija je uredno postavljena najviša temp od 70:)
I da, senzori su ok;)

New version OCCT adds GPU Stability Test

Upozorenje, to jest beta verzija. Neki napominju (kao i u linku niže) da je čak jači od, u zadnje razvikanog FurMarka. Neki vele da imaju iste temperature.

What's new ?



5 Tests



    * CPU OCCT : The classical OCCT CPU tests. The modes "CPU, RAM, and Mix" have been renamed to match more closely their roles to "Low, Medium and Large data sets".

    * Linpack : The very same test that Intel Burn Test, based on an Intel library, that will make your CPU hotter than never before.

    * GPU 3D : OCCT GPU, a home-made 3d program that will make your GPU hotter than anything else (even furmark), and sports an error-checking mode just as ATITool.

    * GPU Memtest : A GPU memory memtest based on CUDA. Very useful as well, but in practice, it is better at detecting manufacturing errors, and not overclocking errors.

    * Power Supply : This test is actually Linpack combined with OCCT GPU. It aims at loading your power supply, and results shows that it uses 20% more power than Crysis and 25% than 3dmark BEWARE, THIS TEST IS REALLY HARD ON YOUR POWER SUPPLY, IT COULD MELT IT EASILY ! DO NOT USE IT IF YOU HAVE A "NO NAME" POWER SUPPLY !







GUI



    * Brand new GUI, with alot of options added

    * Help panel : just move your mouse

    * Modularity : you can hide/show the Monitoring/Sysinfo/Help parts





Graphs



    * Graphs have been revamped - they'll show the test configuration in the titles (Resolution for the GPU 3D test, etc...)

    * Another line has been added showing the CPU Usage on CPU tests and Power Supply, and the FPS on the 3d test !





Monitoring



    * Engine was updated, should support more cpus

    * Added GPU temperature monitoring and autodetection

    * The CPU Usage displayed is now instantaneous (just as the task manager) instead of the average since the starts of the test - more meaningful, especially since the graphs shows the CPU usage in time.





And many, many things i am probably forgetting.



KNOWN LIMITATIONS



    * The linpack test has a 64 bits mode, but no detection of a 64 bits CPU and OS is actually don. it'll be added later on.

    * The GPU MemTest test is supporting only one Graphic card

    * There's currently no way of launching the 3d test in fullscreen mode. I know this causes some issues on ATI and SLI systems. It'll be resolved later on

    * Translations aren't up to date at all !

Bez brige momci. S moje strane ne budete imali konkurenciju dok ne završim svoj davno započeti SS :)

Oho, OCCT postaje moćna igračka... :) Svaka čast Tetedeienchu, čovjek očito ne spava...

Znam da je beta, ali može li netko probati OCCT: GPU test ? Mislim, meni se niš ne dešava :)
Prvo idle-a minuti, onda piše starting i to je to. A brijem da bi mi se trebalo pojaviti onaj donut kao u Furmarku ili slično :)
