ASRock Readies Hasbro Transformers-Themed Motherboards

Although ASRock's lineup of socket LGA2011 motherboards is expansive, covering several price-points, and being available in various form-factors (ATX, XL-ATX, and Micro-ATX), all its X79 Extreme series motherboards launched so far, barring the X79 Fatal1ty Profess1onal, features the same black+silver color scheme. ASRock wants to add some color and side-branding to its X79 Extreme motherboards without necessarily investing much in coming up with new designs. Hence it came up with the idea of making Hasbro Transformers-themed motherboards.

On its Facebook page, ASRock disclosed some rough-sketches (for now, Photoshop quickies), of the X79 Optimus Prime, and the X79 Bumblebee, named after two of the most iconic Autobots from the franchise. These essentially look like the X79 Extreme9 with appropriately-colored heatsink shrouds and expansion slots. The quality of those pictures indicates that ASRock is still in the brainstorming stage of these products, seeking opinions of its Facebook fans, and it will be a while before these products take shape, if they take shape to begin with.

Taman kada sam mislio da ASRock postaje ozbiljan...:D

Kužim da moraju pratit konkurenciju tj Điđabajt i njene G1 ploče ali http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/midi/frech/a092.gif

Fataljiti gluposti još i nekak uspijem tolerirat ali ovo je previše. Mislim OK, klinci će to kupovat ko ludi, tj njihovi starci. No ko da njima treba LGA2011 :D

Iako kad malo bolje pogledaš, još uvijek ništa ne može nadmašit Điđabajt gluposti G1 serijala :roller:

Uf, ne podsjećaj me, Gigabyte i njihov šaržer od hladnjaka na matičnoj...a kao dodatni bonus za totalno zaglupljivanje onaj natpis da je to hladnjak, a ne oružje i da se ne može sastaviti vatreno oružje s time... No shit, Sherlock! :wtf2:

Nego, nazad na topic, da li je negdje u Hrvatsku stigla ASrock Extreme7/9 ili Asus X79 Sabertooth? Gledam i samo vidim entry level s2011 ploče u 'Rvata....

Ove kolor-sheme su im blago receno njesr@. Ajde jos ova zuto-crna me nekako podsjeca na DFI, ali opcenito mi se ne svidja smjer u kojem idu..
Dobro kolega kaze, taman kad sam pomislija da su postali ozbiljni...

Iskreno od X79 ploča najsnažnije kaj sam probao bila je X79-UD5 - a da je ujedno dostupna kod nas. Ovo ostalo još nisam vidio kod nas.

Pa ovo šarenilo po pločama i ovaj pinki pie. :) tko će to kupit?!

Koliko sam skužio ovaj Pinky Pie je zajebancija dok su Transformersi real deal :D

Pinki je PS Bumblebee verzije. To je valjda jasno.

ma nebi me čudilo ni da naprave pinki.. to bi japanci i kinezi kupovali, ziher.. :)

A baš smo danas imali raspravu oko toga da ekipa sve češće izbacuje na tržište zelene proizvode. Ajd ja bar nisam imal tu čast da mi UD3 i UD5 riknu na stolu :D

neznam za vas ali ja bi osobno uzeo ovu pinkie pie :P :D ovi blagi tonovi ruzicaste boje savrseno bi se uklopili u crni chieftech haha (sarkazam naravno) :D

Asrockova kutija je najljepša.. a i ploča.. zapazio sam tamo u članku visokih 1.4V za 3.5ghz.. pa to je puno previše..

Ti novi BIOSi bi trebali srediti stvari vezane za OC. Perica je imao problema sa UD5 plocom. Bilo sta da promjeni u BIOSu, nebitno za koliko koraka, ploca jednostavno ne boota poslije toga. Izgleda da je to sad rjeseno sa ovom verzijom. Jedini problem je sto je on tu plocu prije 2-3 dana vratio nazad. :D

Znam i sve to stima ali ova vijest je plasirana samo da se pokusa oprat malo ljage koja je pokakala Gigabyteove ploce nakon onog videa.
Realno, "tvornicki overclocekr" ima jedan od boljih primjeraka procesora i sa njime nije probelmem uzet WR pogotovo u konkurenciji od 16,17 rezultata od kojih je vecina prosjecna. Da je htio mogao je to napravit i na nekoj Micro ATX Asrockici pogotvovo sa samo dve jezgre. Puno veci respekt bi Gigabyte dobio da je zrusio WR u Wprimeu. Ja sam prosle god. uzeo WR sa 5850 u Vnatageu u mnogo vecoj konkurenciji pa nije nigdje pisalo da je XFX uzeo WR.. Jednostavno prenapuhano i ciljeno..

Pa moraju se malo pohvaliti nakon toliko gresaka. :D

Taiwanese manufacturer Biostar has this week introduced its very first LGA 2011 motherboard, the previously-leaked TPower X79 targeting enthusiasts, overclockers and gamers.

Biostar’s board has an ATX form factor and features support for Intel’s Sandy Bridge E processors, a 9-phase power design, an 8-layer, 2 oz Copper PCB, four DDR3-2400 memory slots, and three PCI-Express x16 3.0 slots enabling Quad CrossFireX and 3-way SLI setups.

The TPower X79 also comes with dual 8-pin EPS connectors, one PCI and two PCIe x1 slots, three SATA 3.0 Gbps and four SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, one eSATA connector, Gigabit Ethernet, six USB 3.0 ports on the back plate (plus two via a header), 7.1-channel audio, a debug LED, UEFI BIOS, and on-board Power, Reset, and Clear CMOS buttons. Biostar’s board should become available next month.

Evo i prvi i7 3820. Jeftiniji id 2600k iako ne bas toliko da bi bio isplativ ali nije ni bas totalna pusiona.

Probao sam ga, nista specijalno. Po meni je puno bolja kupovina LGA1155 + i7 2600k samo zato jer su ploce jeftinije i jer je ovaj 3820 zakljucan na x43/44.

OK, nije da ti treba ista vise od tog takta ali opet. Radije bi uzeo 2600k.

A i link baš nije nešto konkretan...
