Ja sam jednom koristio CrossFire i ispao magarac, s obzirom koliko malo ubrzanja, a koliko (duplo) više novca, grijanja, buke, potrošnje i gnjaveža s driverima sam uložio. Intel pak nikad, niti u doba AMD-ovog topnotch Athlon FX procesora nije bio ugrožen u krunskoj brzini, mooožda u trenutku nesretnog intelovog P4 cirkusiranja bijahu tu negdje.

Advanced Micro Devices said that its next-generation desktop processors code-named Zambezi will use socket AM3+ platforms, which will be backwards compatible with the firm's existing AM3 products. While the latter is an advantage for the platform, it may be a disadvantage for eight-core processors based on Bulldozer micro-architecture. In order for AMD’s desktop offering to fully leverage the capabilities of Bulldozer, an enhanced AM3+ socket will be introduced that supports Bulldozer and is backward-compatible with our existing AM3 CPU offerings.

Apparently, it was possible for AMD to make Bulldozer microprocessors compatible with existing AM3+ infrastructure, but in order to do that, the company would have to sacrifice certain important features of the new core. The compatibility with older microprocessors allows AMD to simplify transition to the new micro-architecture and process design since the new AM3+ platform will support inexpensive chips from day one. However, such compatibility also means that AMD Zambezi processors will only support dual-channel memory controller.

AMD Bulldozer-based processor code-named Zambezi will have up to eight cores along with a new TurboCore dynamic acceleration technology.
Thanks to the new micro-architecture the chip promises to be faster than existing AMD products.

Advanced Micro Devices on Wednesday displayed a die-shot of the forthcoming central processing unit (CPU) code-named Orochi, which is based on the Bulldozer micro-architecture and will be made using 32nm silicon-on-insulator process technology. The chip will feature eight processing engines, but since it is based on Bulldozer micro-architecture, those cores will be packed into four modules. Every module which will have two independent integer cores (that will share fetch, decode and L2 functionality) with dedicated schedulers, one floating point unit with two 128-bit FMAC pipes with one FP scheduler. The chip will have shared L3 cache, dual-channel DDR3 memory controller and will use HyperTransport 3.1 bus. The Orochi chips will use new AM3+ form-factor and will require brand new platforms.
http://www.pohrani.com/f/A/zY/1CVdZk...august2010.jpg
The image clearly depicts four separate dual-core Bulldozer modules with unified level-two caches, various interfaces (memory, HyperTransport, etc.), rather strangely aligned level-three cache and so on. Besides design and instruction set improvements, Bulldozer, just like the code-named Llano accelerated processing unit (APU), supports advanced power management featuring chip power gating and digital measurements of temperatures. Obviously, the chip will be able to dynamically boost clock-speed when thermal design power allows and multiple cores are not required.

AMD Zacate to consume 18W, Ontario 9W

Besides explaining the upcoming architecture late last month and showing off physical samples at IFA 2010 in Berlin, the company is now sharing some additional details regarding specific products and their power envelopes. Specifically the company mentioned two Bobcat-based APUs that will form the basis of their "Brazos" platform: Ontario and Zacate.

Both APUs implement two Bobcat cores merged with a graphics core capable of DirectX 11 rendering and a new Unified Video Decoder (UVD) on-die to handle full HD decoding at 1080p. Zacate is aimed at ultrathin, mainstream, and value notebooks as well as desktops and all-in-ones. With a TDP of 18W, it will have to compete with Intel's ultra-low voltage Core i3 in these markets. Meanwhile, Ontario will target netbooks and nettops with a TDP rating of just 9W. By comparison, Intel's new Atom N550 with on-die graphics has an 8.5W TDP. Unlike Atom, however, Bobcat cores will support out-of-order instruction handling and thus have the potential to offer significantly higher performance.

AMD 900 serija čipseta i nadolazeći Phenom II procesori

AMD 900 serija čipseta
Although there will be several minor differences between AMD 8-series and AMD 9-series core-logic sets, the main two features of the new Scorpius platform will be support for new Bulldozer micro-architecture processors as well as IOMMU, a technology that will bring a number of new features to AMD's desktop platforms and will differentiate it from competing offerings from Intel Corp., according to people familiar with AMD's plans. Like a traditional MMU, which translates microprocessor's virtual addresses to physical addresses, the IOMMU maps device-visible virtual addresses to physical addresses. The I/O memory management unit provides a secure, scalable, high-performance solution for I/O virtualization in client or server computers. While it is clear that IOMMU sports a number of advantages in server platforms and virtualized environments, its main advantage in desktop platforms will likely be improvements in heterogeneous computing.

While there is no concrete guidance at this point, but it is highly likely that all mainboards powered by AMD 9-series chipsets will feature AM3+ sockets that will support AMD's code-named Zambezi desktop processor as well as current-generation AM3 chips. The mainboards will possibly support numerous innovations beyond AM3+ and IOMMU and given the fact that the new chipsets will have new clock-speed generators and the Zambezi chips will support Turbo Core 2.0 technology, there will possibly be a number of new options for overclockers. Even though AMD plans to start shipping its 9-series chipsets in Q2 2011, it is still unknown when the company is able to ship its desktop microprocessors known as Zambezi made using 32nm process technology.
There will be three versions of AMD 9-series North Bridges that will be slightly different from each other:
  • AMD 990FX - supports two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (configurable as four PCIe 2.0 x16), six PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, one PCIe 2.0 x4 slot, to be paired with SB950 I/O controller;
  • AMD 990X - supports one PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (configurable as two PCIe 2.0 x8), six PCIe 2.0 x1 slots;
  • AMD 970 - supports one PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, to be paired with SB950 and SB920 I/O controllers;
AMD 9-series south bridge chips will support the following:
  • AMD SB950 - four PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, 14 USB 2.0 controllers, PCI bus, six Serial ATA-600 connectors with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 support;
  • AMD SB920 - two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots, 14 USB 2.0 controllers, PCI bus, six Serial ATA-600 connectors with RAID 0, 1, 10 support

Nadolazeći Phenom II procesori
In particular, the company wants to introduce new top-of-the-range six-core chip as well as the fastest quad-core microprocessor.
In addition, the company will further broaden the line of its Phenom II X6 "Thuban" products with a relatively affordable CPU.

In an attempt to boost performance of its six-core and quad-core processors in advance of the Holiday season, AMD intends to release two new six-core processors Phenom II X6 1100T (3.30GHz), which will be the fastest chip the company has to offer and Phenom II X6 1065T (2.90GHz), which will be the highest-performance six-core offering with 95W thermal design power. In addition, the company will itroduce its most powerful quad-core Phenom II X4 975 chip with 3.60GHz clock-speed. The chips are specifically aimed at the higher end of the market and will rise performance bar for AMD central processing units.

The forthcoming introduction of a faster six-core offering in Q4 2010 may indicate that Advanced Micro Devices is now seeing higher yields of six-core Phenom II X6 "Thuban" processors at Globalfoundries using 45nm SOI fabrication process. The further expansion of six-core product family with an expensive and mainstream parts is likely to slightly increase average selling prices and consequently revenues of AMD.

Asus ROG Crosshair IV Extreme

Asus ROG Crosshair IV Extreme - Hands on Preview
The Crosshair IV Extreme comes with 5 x PCI-Express 16x ports. These can be used in a number of configurations. The Crosshair IV Extreme comes equipped with the chip that has nVidia spitting nails; the Lucid Hydra. For those less informed, this is a very special feature. Ever since the dawn of Multi GPU computing, nVidia graphics cards have been forced to pair with another nVidia card - the same also applies to ATi's Crossfire Technology as well. Recently, chip designer Lucid came along and eloquently gave ATi/nVidia the middle finger with a bombshell named Hydra. This little innovation allows nVidia graphics cards to function in SLI mode on AMD motherboards but also allows ATi and nVidia graphics cards to work together.

Asus launches Lucid Hydra based Crosshair IV Extreme
http://www.pohrani.com/f/12/2C/a1YjwyW/fullimagephp.jpg

With CrossLinx 3 technology, Crosshair IV Extreme users gain the ability to mix and match multiple graphics cards from both NVIDIA and ATI, including models of different GPU generations. This technology uses the Lucid HYDRALOGIX engine, which bridges various graphics cards to enable their simultaneous usage. By removing compatibility hurdles, CrossLinx 3 makes it possible to experiment with different configurations of graphics cards for maximum performance.

On Crosshair IV Extreme, a unique layout design features a total of five PCI Express expansion slots. Two provide dedicated native graphics card support for either a single GPU or two in CrossFire configuration. The additional three feature Lucid HYDRALOGIX and CrossLinx 3 technologies, which enable a mixture of graphics cards from different vendors and generations, with a total of four detectable and working at once. Users keen on tuning their system gain greater freedom to do so with the unprecedented five PCI Express slots, and the technology maintains optimized performance whether in single or multiple-GPU arrangements.

Asus Crosshair IV Extreme Review
Our comprehensive evaluation of the Crosshair IV Extreme has identified a number of the board's strengths but also a number of pitfalls. In terms of performance, it would generally appear that we are onto a winner here. During our testing, we were able to reach a peak HTT of 350MHz and the CH4E's Lucid Hydra performance proved to be very competitive. This would have been brilliant news to us had the board have launched over two weeks ago, but alas we have also spent this month working on MSI's 870A Fuzion Power Edition.

It is unusual for us to start mentioning a motherboard that is almost £100 more affordable, but its performance almost suggests otherwise. While a maximum base HTT of ~350MHz would have been impressive to us in the past, our MSI 870A Fuzion rumbled its way to a stonking 400MHz. Of course a base HTT of 350MHz is unlikely to hold any current non black edition processor, but it really is food for thought that the range topping Crosshair IV Extreme can't match it. Unlike MSI, Asus have implemented the highest specification Hydra module (LT24102), which offers three way and four way Multi GPU configurations. Our 3DMark Vantage benchmark showed the Crosshair IV Extreme gain a 1000 mark advantage over the MSI Fuzion. As a system orientated towards multiple graphics cards, it would most certainly appear that the Asus is the way to go.

Then there's the board's convenience features. Aside PCB mounted Power Toggle buttons, the board offers instant BIOS recovery, the ability to power, overclock or diagnose your system remotely and also determine graphics card faults with a switch panel. While you pay a lot for these conveniences, most of these are unique to the AMD platform. One mustn't either forget that the Crosshair IV Extreme is in essence an AMD equivalent to the Rampage III Extreme. Despite offering an identical feature set, the Crosshair IV Extreme is set to cost substantially less, which goes a long way towards offering a (like for like) VFM advantage against Intel's Core i7 platform. For many however, the concept of spending upwards of £200 on a Socket AM3 motherboard is cringe worthy regardless.

The Crosshair IV Extreme was all set to blow us all away but unfortunately, the 870A Fuzion stole some of its thunder. To summarise, if you are in the market for the world's most feature rich Socket AM3 motherboard, then this is it. So long as you can find a use for all of its mod-cons you will never be disappointed. Our suggestion? If you have the money, then go for it; just prepare to budget some noise cancelling headphones to complement the purchase.

Llano APU s IGP-om performansama između 400 i 500 GigaFLOPSa

AMD has revealed some more details on its coming desktop processor Llano.
During a presentation at AMD Technical Forum and Exhibition in Taipei AMD's Chris Nolan said that the built-in graphics circuit of Llano will be capable of 500 GFLOPS crunching power.
http://www.pohrani.com/f/2G/s9/1qWXmgUx/amd-llano.jpg
The statement was made during a presentation of Llano where AMD showed how the circuit would play a High Definition video, while a multi-threaded SuperPi calculation and N-Body simulation was stressing both CPU and GPU. To get some more perspective on the number 400-500 GFLOPS that Chris Nolan, operative office and VP of AMD Computing Solitions Group, mentioned during the presentationen we can look at the table below with the current discrete offering.

AMD Llano will launch for desktops around Summer next year, which means it will take a while before we will see the circuits in any computers. We're still excited about seeing how AMD will in theory kill off the entire graphics card market in the $50 range. It is close to the theoretic performance of Radeon HD 5570, which costs around $80. There is no doubt AMD is preparing to sacrifise its budget segment of discrete graphics cards, while it forces nVidia to look over its product assortment.

Advanced Micro Devices will start production of its code-named Zambezi central processing unit (CPU) based on the highly-anticipated Bulldozer micro-architecture in April, 2011. Initially AMD plans to release 8-core microprocessors for desktops, but later in the second quarter of next year the firm intends to launch six-core and quad-core chips based on Bulldozer micro-architecture. The first engineering samples of Zambezi chips that will be available for AMD's partners for testing will be released already in December, 2010, about a month from now. Production candidates should be ready by February and the initial production of the company's first desktop microprocessors powered by the long-awaited Bulldozer micro-architecture is scheduled to start in April next year. Probably, the launch of the chip will occur around the same timeframe.

The first Zambezi microprocessors to be launched are expected to be eight-core products with 95W and 125W thermal design power as well as 8MB L3 cache. Later in the second quarter of 2011 AMD will release six-core chips with 8MB L3 cache and four-core products with 4MB cache. All of the processors will feature TurboCore 2.0 technology, dual-channel DDR3 memory controller with up to 1866MHz memory support and will be compatible with AM3+ mainboards. Eight-core Zambezi/Orochi features four dual-core Bulldozer modules, each of which is believed to have 2MB of shared level-two cache, that will share 8MB L3 cache. In total, the whole chip will pack in whopping 16MB of SRAM, a 77% increase from the current six-core microprocessors that have 9MB of cache in total.

The Sunnyvale, California-based chip designer plans to introduce AMD 900-series chipsets compatible with Zambezi processors in Q2 2011. The Bulldozer processors, Radeon HD 6000 "Northern Islands" discrete graphics cards and AMD 900-series core-logic sets will power AMD's next-generation enthusiast-class platform code-named Scorpius.

Wow, this article is really wrong.

First off, this is not a roadmap.

Secondly, it is not new.

This was a slide from a presentation almost a year ago in Bruhl, Germany where I presented on the "future of processing." It was a "what if" type of presentation and the voice over at the beginning of the presentation was that this is only a discussion of what could possibly happen and by no means represented any future products.

It was a theoretical discussion at best.

AMD C-30 with AMD Radeon™ HD 6250 Graphics (single-core CPU @ 1.2GHz & dual DX-11 SIMDs @ 280MHz)
AMD has finally allowed a few tech pubs to get their hands on Brazos-based systems and, along with feedback about their experience, the guys have come back with some added spec notes. There'll be two initial Zacate options, the dual-core E-350 running at 1.6GHz or the single-core E-240 clocked at 1.5GHz, while Ontario will offer 1GHz dual-core and 1.2GHz single-core variants. Let's not forget that both are intended for netbooks and lithe desktop computers before writing them off as too slow -- which would be a mistake anyway as the sites that got a chance to play with the E-350 reported very respectable performance. HardOCP dared to try out Crysis and managed to get it chugging along at a resolution around 720p, whereas Hot Hardware witnessed a 1080p video clip being played back perfectly smoothly alongside an instance of Hyper Pi maxing out the CPU load.

Advanced Micro Devices on Tuesday demonstrated the operation of its highly-anticipated processor based on the long-awaited Bulldozer micro-architecture. The first ever live demonstration of the processor code-named Zambezi means that the company already has samples of the forthcoming central processing units (CPUs) that are stable enough to run operating system and certain applications. The system ran high-definition video and it was clear that the processor has eight x86 processing cores. Unfortunately, the company shared no actual performance estimates for the new processor and the demonstration itself, fairly speaking, was an easy task for a high-end processor that will cost from $300 and upwards.

AMD-ovi planovi za desktop i mobilno tržište 2012.

At its financial analysts day on Tuesday Advanced Micro Devices released additional details about its future products for client personal computers. Apparently, in 2012 there will be no mainstream or entry-level central processing units (CPUs) without integrated graphics as AMD will address all the markets, except the high-end desktop, with its Fusion accelerated processing units (APUs). The most powerful microprocessor for desktops that AMD will offer in 2012 will be code-named Komodo and which will have eight cores powered by improved Bulldozer micro-architecture. It is noteworthy that the server brother of Komodo - the code-named Sepang chip - will have up to ten cores, whereas traditionally AMD's most powerful desktop chips offered similar features as server chips.
http://www.pohrani.com/f/31/11a/MUE7...map2012nov.jpg
For performance-mainstream, mainstream and entry-level desktops and laptops AMD plans to introduce Trinity family of APUs, which will have two or four next-generation Bulldozer x86 cores as well as DirectX 11-capable integrated graphics engine. AMD's Trinity family made using 32nm SOI fabrication process will likely be the company's biggest line in terms of volume. For low-power desktops, ultra-thin notebooks, netbooks and other low-power devices the Sunnyvale, California-based AMD intends to offer Krishna and Wichita APUs powered by one to four enhanced Bobcat cores as well as DirectX 11-compliant graphics core. Advanced Micro Devices plans to utlize a bulk 28nm manufacturing process to build its next-generation low-power APUs. Unfortunately, at present it is unknown whether the company plans to use TSMC's or Globalfoundries' 28nm fabrcation process.

Jer intel svoju kvalitetu i trud, MASNO naplati! :chears:

Bulldozer i Llano roadmap

AMD's next-generation PC processor architecture that seeks to challenge the best Intel has, codenamed "Bulldozer", is set to make its desktop PC debut in 2Q next year, with a desktop processor die codenamed "Zambezi". AMD is seeking to target all market segments, including an enthusiast-grade 8-core segment, a performance 6-core segment, and a mainstream 4-core segment. The roadmap reveals that Zambezi will make its entry with the enthusiast-grade 8-core models first, starting with 125W and 95W models, trailed by 6-core and 4-core ones.
http://www.pohrani.com/t/U/ff/2aDvx8BA/133a.jpg http://www.pohrani.com/t/1O/Uf/4jXzVMQ/apuroadmap.jpg
Another couple of architectural details revealed is that Zambezi's integrated memory controller (IMC) supports DDR3-1866 MHz as its standard memory type, just like Deneb supports DDR3-1333 MHz as its standard. DDR3-1866 MHz, or PC3-14900 as it's technically known, will churn out 29.8 GB/s in dual-channel mode, that's higher than triple-channel DDR3-1066 MHz (25.6 GB/s), which is Intel Core i7 LGA1366 processors' official memory standard. The 8-core and 6-core Zambezi models feature 8 MB of L3 cache, while the 4-core ones feature 4 MB. Another tidbit you probably already knew is that existing socket AM3 processors are forwards-compatible with AM3+ (Zambezi's socket), but Zambezi processors won't work on older AM3/AM2(+) socket motherboards.

Mogući radni taktovi i ostale detaljne specifikacije Bulldozer procesora

At the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) 2011 Advanced Micro Devices plans to reveal additional details about its code-named Bulldozer micro-architecture as well as implementations of forthcoming microprocessors on its base. Apparently, AMD's next-gen chips will be capable of working at over 3.50GHz, which is a quite high-speed, considering the fact that the central processing units (CPUs) will have up to eight cores. During an ISSCC session on the 21st of February, AMD will describe its dual-core processor module of eight-core Bulldozer microprocessor, according to the agenda on the web-site of the conference. During another session on the 22nd of February the company will describe implementation of its 8MB unified level-three cache of Bulldozer microprocessors. The presentations will be dedicated to ways of reducing die size, power consumption as well as improvements of yields. The description of the sessions shed more light onto the characteristics of AMD's implementation of Bulldozer micro-architecture on 32nm silicon-on-insulator process technology, which is known as code-named Orochi design (Zambezi is desktop version, Valencia is server version).

Each Bulldozer dual-core CPU module with 2MB unified L2 cache contains 213 million transistors and is 30.9mm2 large. By contrast, die size of one processing engine of Llano processor (11-layer 32nm SOI, K10.5+ micro-architecture) is 9.69mm² (without L2 cache), which indicates that AMD has succeeded in minimizing elements of its new micro-architecture so to maintain small size and production cost of the novelty. Bulldozer processor modules are designed to operate from 0.8V to 1.3V voltages at 3.50GHz+ clock-speed. It is unclear whether 3.50GHz is average clock-speed of the forthcoming Orochi processors or they will manage to work at significantly higher frequencies. Interestingly, but the level-three cache of Bulldozer may work at a clock-speed that is lower compared to the frequencies of CPU modules.

The Bulldozer's 8MB L3 cache is composed of four independent 2MB sub-caches and features column-select aliasing to improve area efficiency, supply gating and floating bit lines to reduce leakage power, and centralized redundant row and column blocks to improve yield and testability. The cache operates above 2.40GHz at 1.1V. Potentially, this may be an indicator that Orochi will work asynchronously. While presentations from ISSCC do not reveal precise peculiarities of future microprocessors, they give indicators which may reveal certain general qualities. For example, according to an ISSCC 2010 paper claims that the target CPU clock-speed of Llano, which is made using the same fabrication process as Orochi, is "higher than 3.0GHz". Indirectly this points to high-frequency/scaling design of Bulldozer.

AMD-ovi planovi i strategije za Fusion proizvode

Usput su se raspričali o Fusion proizvodima i kud sve to vodi.:)

Citiraj:

  • If you look at the very high level, people automatically confuse that this is a simple integration of a CPU and a GPU into a single piece of silicon. This is not the case. What we are doing is we are adding parallel computing unit and additional fixed-function units into the mix for the APU. We are also adding new program paradigm with OpenCL and DirectCompute. There are natural hardware challenges. We do have to innovate two physically different devices, glue them alltogether and make sure they work with new protocols like OpenCL.

  • We would view Fusion as not only products but we need to plan our architecture for the current generation and two-three generations down the road. This does take time and it will see our products take big steps along the way in innovation. We need to make sure they are forward and backward compatible and that takes some time. With Zacate we are looking at over 90GFLOPS, which is pretty impressive for a chip of that thermal design power and size. Certain performance goals were not a major a priority.

  • Ontario and Zacate have single-channel DDR3 memory controller. For Ontario/Zacate we are adding PC3-10600 (DDR3 1333MHz) support, it is a fairly robust memory controller and for the vast majority of applications we see no problems in going single channel. If you look at Llano, then memory controller is quite different to Ontario/Zacate. We have also done some tweaks for GPU in Llano. We try to design the best memory controller we can for each of our products. That is all we can share at this time.

  • When we integrated our discrete-level GPUs into APUs, we took the best what we had to offer from our graphics processing units, so, fundamental architecture and cache architecture are the same as in the standalone family. It really does not make sense for use to start reinventing the cache for our built-in GPUs because quite frankly our GPUs are world-class and that is not something we need to innovate.

Bulldozer 50% Faster than Core i7 and Phenom II

Citiraj:

AMD reportedly gave out performance figures in a presentation to its partners, performance figures seen by DonanimHaber. It is reported that an 8-core processor based on the "Bulldozer" high-performance CPU architecture is pitched by its makers to have 50% higher performance than existing processors such as the Core i7 950 (4 cores, 8 threads), and Phenom II X6 1100T (6 cores). Very little is known about the processor, including at what clock speed the processor was running at, much less what other components were driving the test machine.

Taking this information into account, the said Bulldozer based processor should synthetically even outperform Core i7 980X six-core, Intel's fastest desktop processor in the market. Built from ground-up, the Bulldozer architecture focuses on greater inter-core communication and reconfigured ALU/FPU to achieve higher instructions per clock cycle (IPC) compared to the previous generation K10.5, on which its current Phenom II series processors are based. The processor is backed by new 9-series core logic, and a new AM3+ socket. AMD is expected to unveil this platform a little later this year.

ASRock E350M1 Mini-ITX Motherboard

Citiraj:

Better late than never. ASRock finally unveiled its mini-ITX motherboard based on the AMD Brazos platform, featuring AMD Fusion "Zacate" E-350 accelerated processing unit (APU). The APU integrates two x86-64 processing cores based on the "Bobcat" architecture with a DirectX 11 compliant AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics processing core. The ASRock E350M1 is a typical mini-ITX embedded platform motherboard. The board draws power from a standard 24-pin ATX power connector (20-pin will do), though from the looks of it, the same PCB can be reconfigured to have a 2-pin 12V DC power external input for use in some very tight cases.

The APU is wired to two DDR3 DIMM slots, the lone expansion slot is a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (electrical 2.0 x4). The E-350 APU and Hudson M1 chipset have separate heatsinks, the one over the APU is ventilated by a small fan. The chipset gives out four SATA 6 Gb/s ports, and one eSATA 6 Gb/s. Display connectivity includes one each of DVI, D-Sub, and HDMI. Other connectivity features include 8-channel HD audio with optical SPDIF output, gigabit Ethernet, mouse/keyboard combo PS/2, and a number of USB 2.0 ports.
