Od svih navedenih mislim da je UD5 još najbolji izbor. UD7 i G1 će najvjerovatnije biti way too much preskupe.

ASRock X79 Extreme9, X79 Extreme4 i X79 Extreme4-M
ASRock X79 Extreme9 looks to become one of the killer motherboards this Winter. he deep black circuit board have some extra layers of copper and gold-plated connectors and graphical details, but it is the components that makes us want it. Five PCI Express 3.0 x16 ports for 3-way SLi and CrossFireX, 12 SATA ports, a bunch of USB 3.0 ports (6 or maybe even 8), 8 DDR3 memory slots and dedicated buttons for Start, Reboot and Clear CMOS. Diode for troubleshooting and a big piece of cooling for the voltage regulators include functions worth mentioning. The cream of the crop is an expansion card that houses Creative's latest quad-core sound processor Sound Core3D and most likely a network circuit from Bigfoot Networks.

ASRock showed off pictures of the first socket LGA2011 motherboard in the compact micro-ATX form-factor, the ASRock X79 Extreme4-M Within its small board footprint of 240 x 240 mm, the X79 Extreme4-M offers almost every feature the platform has to offer. To begin with, the LGA-2011 socket is powered by an 8-phase VRM that makes use of high-grade solid-state chokes, and driver-MOSFETs. It is wired to four DDR3 DIMM slots, two on either sides of the socket. All four expansion slot bays available to the mATX form-factor are made use of, with three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 and one legacy PCI. The CMOS can be reset from the rear panel. The board will be driven by UEFI firmware.

Mislim da sam našao svoju novu ploču, ovaj Extreme9 ima sve sto mi treba. Još samo da potvrde da će biti kompatibilna sa IB-E kada izađe i razbijam kasicu-prasicu.:)

Bit će potvrđena kompatibilnost i konačno si riješio nedoumicu glede SATA priključaka ( ima ih 12 )

Da mi je netko prije par godina rekao da ću razmišljati o kupnji ASRocka, pogotovo high-end ploče, preporučio bi mu posjet Vrapču. A vidi sada...:)

taj creative je toliki fail sa svojim zvucnim karticama - uci ce u anale sto se tice svojih drivera i podrske za zvucne kartice
katastrofa, ne znam zasto bi to itko htio imati (osim ako se nesto radikalno nije promjenilo u zadnjih par godina sto se tice creativea?)

btw sta je IB-E? ivy bridge?

Da, Ivy Bridge-E je nasljednik Sandy Bridge-E platforme. Desktop derivati serverskih Xeon modela baziranih na poboljšanoj aktualnoj Sandy Bridge, tj. nadolazećoj Ivy Bridge arhitekturi.

i koja ce biti njihova nomenklatura? pretpostavljam da ce intel nastaviti koristiti i3,i5 i i7 nazive samo dodati tisuce na kraj kao sa trenutnim procesorima?:lol2:

i btw da li je ivy bridge samo evolucija trenutnih sandy bridge procesora ili potpuno nova generacija intelovih procesora? koji je proizvodni proces (25nm)?

Ivy Bridge je 22nm die-shrink Sandy Bridge arhitekture, ali procesori budu donijeli i nove tehnologije, poput 3D tranzistora i DX11 grafičke jezgre uz manju potrošnju i bolji overclock potencijal.
Nazivi pojedinih modela se još ne znaju, ali pretpostavlja se da bude Intel koristil sličnu filozofiju ko i sa sadašnjim Sandy Bridge procesorima.

Foxconn's latest premium gamer-overclocker segment motherboard, the Quantum Force X79, has finally taken shape. Foxconn's Quantum Force motherboards are designed to offer good overclocking features at a great value. The Quantum Force X79 uses a 14-phase VRM to power the LGA2011 "Sandy Bridge-E" processor, plus a 2-phase VRM for the memory. There are four DDR3 DIMM slots, one per memory channel. Expansion slots include three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 (PCI-E1_x16, PCI-E3_x16, and PCI-E4_x16. The second black slot (PCI-E2_x16) is electrical PCI-Express 2.0 x8.

The board is packed with features that help overclockers, starting with triple redundant BIOS, voltage measurement points for manual voltage measurements (with a wide range of voltage domains), manual overclocking buttons on board, power, reset, clear-CMOS buttons, POST speaker, and plenty of fan headers.

In terms of connectivity, there are four each of SATA 6 Gb/s (red) and SATA 3 Gb/s (black) internally, two of the 6 Gb/s ports are driven by an ASMedia-made controller. There are two eSATA 3 Gb/s ports on the rear panel, driven by a JMicron controller. There four USB 3.0 ports (two on the rear-panel, two via header), both sets driven by Renesas-made controllers. Also available are two gigabit Ethernet connections, one of these two are controlled by an Intel-made GbE chipset, the other by a Realtek-made one. To top it off, there's 8+2 channel HD audio with optical and coaxial SPDIF outputs.

zasto su USB 3.0 portovi i dalje u manjini? tj zasto se uopce vise i koriste USB 2.0 portovi?

Vrlo vjerojatno zato što X79 chipset ne podržava nativno USB 3.0, a pitanje je koliko im se da/isplati/nešto_treće stavljati USB 3.0 kontrolere gore.

Kolko sam skužio, gore je 6 metaka... strojnica na vrhu i mina jedna, ebo me pas ak su oni normalni...

Nelose izgleda (osim ovih pasivnih usera al ajd). Ali ovi slotovi za ram mi se cine preblizu cpu socketu, pogotovo prva dva s live i desne strane...
Pa sto ovi proizvodjaci maticnih misle da se cpu cooleri smanjuju zajedno sa proizvodnim procesom :D

Dobra stvar je za potencijalne korisnike to da procesor ima puno vise OC potencijala od zakljucanog 1155 ekvivalenta, i7 2600 i bez problema prelazi 4.6ghz. Performanse su nesto malo bolje od 2600k ali nedovoljno da bi bio isplativ.

Zanimljiv chipset.. procesori su brutalni i tko zna šta će još doc.. poboljšani igpu i možda najveći plus hydra lucid, spajanje različitih grafika (ati/nvidia) u sli.. na ovom će chipsetu apsolutno sve moći radit skupa.. :)

Cipset je zapravo jedini promasaj nove platforme po mom.
Nedonosi nista novoga u odnosu na p67/Z68.
A za veliki broj PCI-E staza zaduzen je sam procesor.
