Kaj se nisi javil prije za moju staru 590 SLI koja nije htjela delat sa Phenom procom?
A trebalo je samo nadogradit BIOS, šatro...:D

Ili tak bezrezervno vjeruješ AMD-u?

590 SLi je bila tak-tak, a ova DFI je ipak koje koplje ispred. Mislim nije da mi treba, ali čemu da si delate brigu oko nadogradnje.:D Sad za ozbiljno, kaj se tiče AM3 procesora, nema druge nego da pričekamo i vidimo kaj bude iz svega toga. Makar sumnjam da bi lagali oko podrške na sadašnjim pločama kad im RD890 čipset i AM3 ploče izlaze tek debelom sredinom i laganim krajem godine, a do onda budu imali masu novih AM3 procesora na tržištu. Osim toga ima već jedan tip na XSu, Phenom II 940 Black Edition na Foxconn 790GX ploči i čudo se prema njegovim riječima clocka ko da nema sutra.:) Tak da ne bi bilo ništ čudno da i AM3 prodela kak spada.

Uf, ta Foxconnica je bila izvrsna ploča, istinabog da je imala Endivia chipset ali...

Zna li se kaj novo o cijenama Phenom II proceva?

Ma znam da je bila dobra, pa nekaj sam moral napisati.:D Kaj se tiče cijena novih Phenoma, oko 200 funti traže Britanci (ko zna možda s tim idu Sugababes i Sophie Ellis-Bextor kompilacije:)) za ovo čudo od 940 modela, a sukladno tome su slične cijene u ostatku svijeta. Sve u svemu još uvijek jeftinije od Nehalema.:)

Ah, čini mi se da bum ipak ubol neki rabljeni X3 ili X4 dok se to malo ne stabilizira, nema šanse da bi stari Đu pljunul dva soma za proc:)

Koliko sam vidio, u Italiji su stavili da 940-tka dođe ~300€.

Od toga posta se promijenilo:

Pa, ako sam stvarno napravio krivu stvar trošeći si vrijeme i pišući taj post, moje isprike.

Zapravo većina toga se zna još od sredine destog mjeseca, a Fudzilla je dodala još jedan model i cijene.
Osim toga svi mogući portali navode Fudzillu kao glavni izvor, a oni nisu jedamput pisali i reciklirali samo njima jasne vijesti.
Stvar je u tome da, ako se već posta onda nek bude kolko-tolko pouzdano.

Skupo, al' još uvijek jeftinije od Nehalema.
I naravno, to su cijene prije samog dolaska procesora, da se što više ljudi ulovi da naruče proc na temelju raznih OC SS-ova s interneta :D

Mislim da će cijene još pasti nakon što se pojave u prodaji. Pretpostavljam da će cijena kod nas u dolasku biti u rangu Core i7 920 (cca 2.500,00 kn) ili možda još malo manja, a kasnije oko 2.000,00 kn.

Inače sve više informacija na webu (uglavnom XS) potvrđuje OC mogućnosti Phenoma II 940. Izgleda da je sa zračnim hlađenjem normalno postići 3.6 - 3.8 GHz, s kvalitetnijim hlađenjem povuče i debelo preko 4 GHz. Navodno su se testirali i neki retail primjerci. Poštenog reviewa i testova još uvijek nema.
No to je flagship, s otključanim množiteljem. Treba vidjeti kako će ići sirotinjska ergela kad se pojavi :D

Evo momci malo tračeva o novom Phenomu II. Onako, par postova što sam uspio uhvatiti. Naravno, sve uzmite sa rezervom jer se radi o informacijama koje idu usmenom predajom (jer NDA je još uvijek aktivan).

Malo o Preview-u Dragon platforme o kojoj je fordam gore pisao:
Team Finland Phenom II @ 6+Ghz (ekstremno hlađenje)

Ono što je najvažnije:
Uglavnom, imali su jako malo vremena za zračno hlađenje (pola sata za isprobat 5 proceva:D) tako da se taj dio uzima sa rezervom. Vjerojatno su napucali napon koliko ide pa šta bude-bude. Testovi su bili na 1.9+V za tekuži dušik. Matične su bile dvije, od AMD-a neka referentna sa Vcore volt modom te Gigabyte-ova matična sa SB750 (nisam siguran jel FX790 ili GX790, ali SB750 je bio). Druga stvar je što svi spominju da SB750, odnosno ACC ne radi/pomaže kod OC-a Phenoma II. Jel zbog BIOS-a ili samog CPU-a, pojma nemam.

Drugo, NDA zabranjuje postanje rezultata, no čisto da se dobije neka predodžba koliki napon će trebati za koje frekvencije:

Kome se neda gledati, rezultati su otprilike ovakvi (stabilnost je upitna, opet uzmite sve sa rezervom), no ovo su i ES primjerci procesora (retail bi trebali biti isti ili bolji); zračno hlađenje mislim:
Defolt je 3000Mhz i 1.35V
Undervolta - 3300Mhz i 1.32V
OC - 3800Mhz sa 1.44V
OC 2 - 4000Mhz sa 1.5V (SuperPi od 1M je provrtio i sa 1.44V ako nekome to nešta znači).

I zadnje, oni koji su bili na tom Dragon eventu, par zanimljivih izjava:

Bilo kako bilo, nešta od ovoga mora biti istinito :D. Enyoj.

Pa core i7 quad nije nista brzi, dapače je sporiji u igricama od ovih na visim rezolucijama od core 2 quad, a phenom II ce biti jednako brz ili malo brži od core 2 quad. Kad se sve uzme u obzir amd ce biti jednako dobar izbor za gaming comp kao intel, pa cak i isplativiji od intela.Oni kojima treba puno threadova uzet ce naravno core i7 quad...=1-5% njih. Jedino se bojim da bi dual core i7 ,koji bi zbog hyperthreding-a(imao bi 4 logicke ,ali 2 fizicke jezgre) bio bolji izbor od phenom II i vjerovatno jeftiniji i overclockabilniji, ali zato treba kupiti novu maticnu i ddr3 ram ,pa ostajem pri phenom II x4 925(ili 910 ak nebude preskup za moj džep).

AMD AM3 processors (Athlon X4, Phenom II X3, Phenom II X4) will get a new 55nm chipset by Q3 next year. AMD 880G chipset will form part of the AMD Live! "Pisces" platform. Uzalud se "bojiš" jer ti procesori (Havendale i Auburndale) budu imali integriranu grafičku karticu i namijenjeni budu (prvi) za uredske desktop i (drugi) mobilne konfiguracije. Još k tome stižu krajem sljedeće i početkom 2010. godine. Tak da kak je i bilo rečeno Core i5 i svi ostali mogući derivati ne budu jedno dulje vrijeme na tržištu. Najprije se bude isforsiral Core i7, a tak onda (debelim krajem sljedeće godine) stiže ostalo.

Athlon 7750 i 7550 X2 procesori
 

The Athlon X2 7750 is pretty much the same price as the Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 at the time of writing, but its performance is mostly better overall. Considering we have recommended the Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 for the last few months on the trot in our buyers guide, we'd have to conclude the 7750 is also a very good processor that should give this a run for its money. It actually feels good to write something positive for AMD after such a time of Conroe domination, because for a small part it's great to have some serious competition again. In a clock for clock comparison, the 2.5GHz 7550 actually comes out ahead of the Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 in many of our tests as well, although not all - in all our games tests with both graphics cards, the new Kuma processors came out consistently on top which is unusual territory for AMD K10 CPUs. What the new Kumas do achieve is basically making the more expensive triple-core processors redundant.

For enthusiasts, AMD has finally done the best it can with its 65nm K10 core although we have to say it's too little too late as a K10 dual core would have been competitive 12 months ago. Even then though, the lack of overclocking headroom and higher power consumption would still turn today's cost concious power users towards Intel's 45nm alternatives. While the Athlon X2 7700 series CPUs may not twist the nipples of our readers quite so much, for the general public who just want a cheap upgrade with great, well rounded performance, they're a decent heart to a great platform when combined with a 780G board and an ATi Radeon HD 4800 graphics card. What's more, the new Athlon X2 7750 Black Edition and 7550 CPUs appear to offer better price to performance over Intel's competitive offerings and they're certainly worth buying over the older K8 Athlon X2s.

ugodno iznenađenje. ali nije baš ono. u Driverheavenu testiraju protiv celerona E1400 i to jadno ( zbog cijene usporedbe ) btw. zanimljivo da E1400 dobro drži u Photoshopu nego kod oba AMD. :D
bit-tech testira kumu na večem taktu memorije 1066mhz nego na intela 800mhz. hexus tu negdje realan. nije vrijeme za slavlje. ali mi korisnici možemo profitirati jer cijene još može pasti u oba tabora

Jeli ja to dobro vidim? CPU-Z pokazuje 1,440V na default-u

Defoult je 1.35V.
Do 1.55V se moze ici s boljim (air) hladjenjem.
Nista bitno drugacije od X3 i X4 Phenoma.

Cijena i nije tako loša, najjeftiniji je 625 kn...

Ja si ga uzimam za par dana :-)

Pušiona od prockasa što se mene tiče, i dalje čekam Propus X4 koji će na proljeće koštat iste pare, a ići ko gluha svinja :)

Pa, i nije tako loš...
Na istom taktu kao Brisbane je bolji u prosjeku u svemu 15%, a i sa boljim coolerom i na nekih 1.45V ide stabilno na 3.3 GHz

Danas sam probao 7750 Kumu, poigrao sam se s njim cca dva sata i nije loš proc ali s obzirom koliko košta ne vrijedi upgrade tih novaca ako se već ima neki X2 Athlon... Realno je u performansama na 3.1 u prednosti od 3.1 Brisbanea nekih 200-300mhz a skuplji je cca 100kn... Ako se ide na upgrade iz jednojezgrenih procova u dvojezgrene onda bi ja ipak dao tih 100kn više, bar zbog L3 cashea i boljeg memorijskog kontrolera... Za bolji clock ipak treba pričekati Deneba...

Jel ima to čudo otkljucan množitelj? Koliko ja vidim u imenu nepise Black Edition, a na internetu su samo pricali o otkljucanom množitelju kod x2 7750...

Ima otključan množitelj, ne piše da je BE ali je pakiranje klasični crni BE box

Ploca je AM3 i ima DDR3 podrsku, a prima AM2 i AM2+, nije li tu nesto cudno?

Krivo piše, samo AM3 ide gore. Ovo ostalo su valjda samo skopirali kak im stoji i za ostale AM2+ ploče.

AM3 Phenomi stižu 08.02.'09. i najavljen Phenom II 950 X4
 

According to our usual sources of information from Europe, AM3 processors will go on sale on Feb 8. The AM3 processor which contains two memory controllers for DDR2 and DDR3 will have 938 pins and will work on existing AM2+ boards with DDR2 and future DDR3 boards. Currently, There are a few models and they are 925 915, 820,810, 720 and 710. 9 series has a L2 of 8MB while the 8 series has lesser L3 cache of 6MB and it is also quad core. The 7 series is a tri core processor. Current Phenom II 920 and 940 will not run on AM3+ DDR3 board as DDR3 support is not available on it.

EDIT:

Interestingly AMD is planning to launch a new model together with the already known Phenom II X4 945. The latter is a direct reply to today's flagship, with the same clock frequencies and new DDR3 support. But at the same time it will announce a new top model in the form of Phenom II X4 950 operating at 3.1GHz, 100MHz higher than the 945-model, which may not be all that overwhelming. If AMD will stick to these plans remains to be seen, but we would not complain if AMD managed to raise the bar even further and perhaps even hit 3.2GHz.

BTW, one price od prije koji mjesec o FX modelu koji radi na 4.0GHz na defoultu sada i nisu tako nerealne. S obzirom na potraznju za procevima od 1000$ i jedan takav po waferu ako se izvadi bio bi dovoljan!

BTW, izgleda da ce Propos jezgra bez L3 cachea biti pun pogodak! 3.6GHz na defoult voltazi! :D
